Before retiring, in July 2010, I was a professor of Political Science at the University of Maryland.  Since then, I have been writing fiction.  Most of my previous professional publications and creative writings can be found on my website.  I am planning to write occasional reviews, political commentaries, and post creative writings on this blog.
